Her childhood home was filled with colour and wood, a red living room, a green kitchen, a blue bedroom. After a period of white and muted tones, Josefine found her way back to what home truly feels like to her. Today, wood, colour, heirlooms, and objects with history matter most, because sentimental value is something only time can give.
Josefine chose the Balance Sculpture, drawn to both its beauty and its symbolism. Her working life is full of contrasts, and the most important balance for her is going all in, never halfway. But what matters most is being able to fully set work aside and be a hundred percent present with her partner, her family, and her friends.
For Josefine, home is about calm: the feeling of coming home, putting her hair up, and slipping into comfortable clothes. As long as she has her partner, their quiet, and phones put away, she feels at home.
